Just when you think there are no more wrinkles to the ongoing rivalry/beef/feud between Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, NBA All-Star weekend goes ahead and blesses you with another.
It's reached the point where any time the two are within an arm's reach of each other, it's a big deal. Well, that was certainly the case following the Western Conference All-Star's open practice on Saturday afternoon.
Durant was making his way through the back to fulfill more of his media obligations, and in the process, passed Westbrook while he was chatting it up with other attendees.
There was no eye contact. No pats on the back. No acknowledgement whatsoever. It was just incredibly awkward.
You could cut the tension with a knife, people.
