Nuggets' Danilo Gallinari: Out Wednesday vs. Timberwolves

Gallinari (groin) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports.

Analysis:

This was expected all along, as Gallinari has already missed seven games with a left groin strain and hasn't resumed practicing yet. The Nuggets are dealing with a slew of injuries in the frontcourt with Kenneth Faried (ankle) and Darrell Arthur (knee) also out an Wilson Chandler (illness) listed as questionable Wednesday, so Will Barton looks like a decent bet to make another start at small forward in place of Gallinari. In Monday's win over the Warriors, Barton supplied 24 points (9-19 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 41 minutes.
