Pacers' Thaddeus Young: Likely out until after All-Star break
Coach Nate McMillan said that Young (wrist), who has already been ruled out for Monday's game against the Spurs, isn't expected to play until after the All-Star break.
Analysis:
Young has missed the team's last five games because of a sprained left wrist and is apparently still experiencing some swelling, so the Pacers seem content to err on the side of caution and hold him out Wednesday against the Cavaliers and Thursday against the Wizards to give him an extra week of recovery time. Assuming Young misses those contests, Lavoy Allen would likely be in store for a three-start week, though he isn't a safe bet to bring much fantasy value after seeing his playing time trickle down in four successive games.
