Even under restrictions, Sacramento Kings social media reigns supreme.
In light of a memo the NBA sent out this week warning clubs not to fire off anymore mean tweets about opponents or referees, arguably the meanest and funniest team account is on its best behavior.
The Kings welcomed the visiting Atlanta Hawks on Friday night with this uncharacteristically friendly tweet:
Tonight we welcome our best friends, the @ATLHawks to @Golden1Center! 👋 #Besties #FlashbackFriday #Friendship
— Sacramento Kings (@SacramentoKings) February 10, 2017
Here are some of the Kings' classic tweets from this season:
- Calling out 'fair weather' Warriors fans
- Savagely poking fun at LeBron for flopping
- Ruthlessly redesigning Cavaliers logo following win
We'll miss this.
