J.R. Smith: Barkley will never be on LeBron's level as player, person
To the surprise of no one, Cleveland Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith - who's currently on the shelf recovering from surgery on his fractured thumb - is a proud member of Team LeBron following the recent war of words between the four-time league MVP and TNT analyst Charles Barkley.
During an AMA session conducted on his Twitter account early Thursday morning, Smith implied that the former Round Mound of Rebound is jealous of James, both in terms of his accomplishments on the floor and how he conducts himself off of it.
He was/will never on his level as a player or person an I think it eats him up. https://t.co/4E7nlEoQLU

Barkley has been critical of James for years, with his recent comments concerning James' questionable analysis of the state of the Cavaliers' roster being the straw that broke the camel's back.

Smith also responded to questions asking his opinion of the Philadelphia 76ers, Kyrie Irving, and who he'd like to one day dunk on (his mother).
