The 19-year pro - who turned 40 years old Jan. 26 - will soon have more company in the 2,000 3-pointers club, as Jamal Crawford of the Los Angeles Clippers and Kyle Korver of the Cleveland Cavaliers aren't far off.

Entering Wednesday, Carter was averaging eight points and 3.2 rebounds in 24.2 minutes as a reserve, while shooting 34.9 percent from deep with 1.4 makes per game.
