Jameer Nelson's Wednesday night did not last long.
The Nuggets point guard was ejected just four minutes into the first quarter after picking up a pair of technicals in Denver's contest versus the Memphis Grizzlies.
The 34-year-old is in the midst of a solid season for the Nuggets, averaging nine points, 4.7 assists, 2.2 rebounds, and 0.7 steals on 44.1 percent shooting and 37.1 percent from deep.
Guards Emmanuel Mudiay and Jamal Murray will likely see a spike in their minutes with Nelson gone.
