Wall thinks Wizards have NBA's best backcourt

USA Today Sports

John Wall and the Washington Wizards made a big statement against the Boston Celtics in Tuesday's 123-108 victory.

So much of a statement in fact, that Wall believes he and guard Bradley Beal, who combined for 58 points in the contest, form the best backcourt in the NBA.

"I think we're the best backcourt in the league. The way we're going, we're both playing at a high level right now, we're staying healthy, we're a tough tandem to deal with," he told CSN Mid-Atlantic. "Any given moment, I can get going, he gets going, and the one thing I trust about us and I love about us is we don't shy away from getting that guy the ball when they got it going."

The Wizards showed up to Verizon Center wearing all-black clothing, or as they deemed, 'funeral' attire, and put the Celtics to rest.
