The Orlando Magic's reported interest in Miami Heat point guard Goran Dragic as already known, but now we apparently know how they tried to land him.

The Magic reportedly offered double-double machine Nikola Vucevic, as well as a first-round pick in exchange for Dragic, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Miami already rolls out an elite big man in Hassan Whiteside, so they reportedly had no interest in the offer for the Magic center. Miami continues to maintain they are hesitant to part ways with Dragic before February's trade deadline.

Dragic is in the midst of his best season since his All-NBA Third Team in 2013-14, so the Heat's asking price for the 30-year-old is apparently too high for teams to gain any traction in trade discussions.

Vucevic is having a good statistical season - 13.7 points and 10 rebounds on 47-percent shooting - but the Magic's interest in trading him comes as no surprise when looking at their rotation of big men. With Serge Ibaka, Bismack Biyombo, Jeff Green, and Aaron Gordon all vying for playing time and the team lacking scoring punch, Orlando can afford to move its 26-year-old center to add another playmaker.
