Bulls' Dwyane Wade: Will play Saturday, sit Sunday vs. Grizzlies

Wade will play Saturday against the Pelicans, but is scheduled to sit out the second half of the Bulls' back-to-back Sunday against the Grizzlies, Nick Friedell of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

The Bulls are in the middle of a hefty game schedule, so they'll look to build in some rest for the veteran for the second time in less than a week, after he previously sat out the second half of a back-to-back set Tuesday against the Wizards. Fortunately, Jimmy Butler is expected to play Saturday following a two-game absence due to illness, so assuming he experiences no setbacks, he'll likely be cleared to play again Sunday, giving the team someone capable of shouldering the workload while Wade is out. Even so, Wade's absence will likely open up minutes for some bench options, with Denzel Valentine, Jerian Grant and Paul Zipser shaping up as some of the players who could take advantage.
