So, apparently this is just part of the Cavaliers' playbook now.
On Friday night, five days after they first pulled it off against the Suns, the Cavs' holy trinity of Kevin Love, LeBron James, and Kyrie Irving played a beautiful game of tic-tac-toe to get Irving a layup against the Kings, with James providing the highlight with his gorgeous touch-pass redirect.
The play - which we should probably expect to see more of as the season goes along - starts with Love controlling the ball on the wing, James posting up at the elbow, and Irving above the break. Irving slices down the middle just as Love makes the entry feed to James, and James taps the ball right to Irving, in stride, for the easy deuce.
