Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Jordan Clarkson has been fined $15,000 for hitting Miami Heat point guard Goran Dragic with a forearm in Friday night's contest, the league announced Monday.
The incident occurred during a tangle-up under the basket during the third quarter. Both players were quickly ejected.
While Clarkson accepted his punishment, Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra was irate following the contest, saying it was "disgraceful" that Dragic was kicked out of the game.
Clarkson finished the contest with just four points on 2-of-4 shooting, while Dragic ended his night with 16 points, three rebounds, and three assists.
