LeBron votes for banana boat crew in All-Star balloting
Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports
Even though all current NBA players will get a weighted vote in All-Star balloting, they are free to join in the free-for-all of unlimited Twitter voting.
LeBron James did so Sunday, voting for his three closest friends in the league - Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade, and Carmelo Anthony, two of whom formed, along with the King, 2015's marine adventure on a banana boat.

This season's change in voting gives all active players and select media a weighted vote - one ballot each - that will jointly account for 50 percent of the final tally. Despite this, players are still free to tweet their picks unlimited times.
