Hawks' Mike Dunleavy: Officially traded to Hawks
Dunleavy was officially traded to the Hawks on Saturday, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Analysis:
The deal was initially reported Thursday, but it's now official, as Dunleavy and Mo Williams (knee) will head to Atlanta, along with a future first-round pick, in exchange for Kyle Korver. The Cavs added Dunleavy with the hope that he'd serve as a three-point specialist off the bench, but he's struggled when given opportunities this season, and Korver represents a tangible upgrade for a Cleveland team that ranks second in the NBA in both made three-pointers and three-point attempts. With the Hawks seemingly entering a rebuild, there's a possibility Dunleavy's contract could be bought out, if he's not flipped to another team.
