Draymond says he will cast All-Star vote for Zaza Pachulia

Draymond Green has every reason to be upset with the latest returns in All-Star balloting.

For a second straight season, unheralded center Zaza Pachulia ranks among the league-leaders in voting with 439,675 votes, which ranks second to only Kevin Durant among Western conference forwards.

Green ranks fifth in the West despite playing a more important role for the Golden State Warriors but he says he's happy for his teammate.

"I'm definitely voting for Zaza," Green joked to reporters. "We're gonna start campaigning for the players to vote for him, too."

Under this season's rules, winning the popularity vote won't be enough to decide All-Star rosters. Fan voting comprises of 50 percent of the vote, while both player and media voting will account for 25 percent. If Pachulia wins the popularity vote among fans but is shut out by the media and his peers, he will not start.

Green mentioned that he would campaign for Pachulia when the new voting format was explained to him. However, Green wasn't nearly as courteous last season when Pachulia, then with the Dallas Mavericks, ranked ahead of him.

"It definitely ticked me off last year, but this year it's funny ... I think it's pretty hilarious."
