James Harden of the Houston Rockets and John Wall of the Washington Wizards have been named NBA Western and Eastern Conference Players of the Week, respectively.

Harden led Houston to a 4-0 week, capping it with a career-high 53 points on New Year's Eve against the New York Knicks. In the four contests, he averaged 37.3 points, 12.5 assists, and 9.8 rebounds.

In the Knicks game, Harden became the first player in NBA history to have at least 50 points, 15 assists, and 15 rebounds in a game, and he tied Wilt Chamberlain's record for the most points in a triple-double.

Wall logged a season-high 16 assists in Washington's Dec. 26 win over the Milwaukee Bucks, and averaged 24.3 points, 13 dimes, and 2.7 steals in three games.
