It's only been one day, but 2017 is already looking like it will be a good year for C.J. McCollum.
The 6-foot-4 shooting guard was feeling it in Sunday night's victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves, dropping a career-high 43 points in the 95-89 win. He also chipped in five rebounds, three assists, three steals, and one block.
The 2016 Most Improved Player has taken his game to a new level with Damian Lillard out with an ankle injury, scoring 20 points or more in each of his last four contests.

Still sitting at just 15-21 on the season, the Blazers will need more performances like Sunday's from McCollum if they hope to reach the postseason.
