Kings' Rudy Gay: Fails to practice Friday

Gay (hip) was unable to practice Friday and is listed as doubtful for Saturday's game against Memphis, James Ham of CSN Bay Area reports.

Analysis:

At this point it would be highly surprising for Gay to play Saturday as he continues to be bogged down with a strained hip on his right side. In his expected absence, Omri Casspi and Matt Barnes will be in line for added usage.
