Ariza, Rockets try to confront Mejri outside Mavs' locker room

It's safe to say that Trevor Ariza isn't too fond of Salah Mejri.

The 6-foot-8 small forward was irate at the Dallas Mavericks big man during Tuesday's contest after Mejri allegedly made a comment about Ariza's wife and children.

Ariza - along with several other Houston Rockets players - waited to confront Mejri following the contest, but cooler heads eventually prevailed, according to ESPN's Tim MachMahon.

Mejri denied saying anything about Ariza's family when questioned.

In a game that saw a total of eight technical fouls, Ariza was the only player to be ejected from the contest, picking up his second tech after bickering with Mejri in the third quarter.

Ariza wasn't the only one unimpressed with the Mavericks' antics, as James Harden called out his opponents following the contest for their chippy tactics in the second half.

"I don't know what they were on tonight," Harden told Jonathan Feigen of The Houston Chronicle. "That other team was trippin'. Just disrespectful."

Patrick Beverley, who did not play due to a thigh bruise, shared his thoughts via Twitter:

The Rockets would go on to win 123-107, sweeping the season series.
