While Shaquille O'Neal's time in South Beach may have been brief, his contributions were certainly felt.
In honor of Shaq's short, but impressive run with the franchise, the Miami Heat honored the Hall of Fame big man on Thursday night, retiring his No. 32 jersey at Americans Airlines Arena.
The 19-year veteran led the Heat to their first NBA title during his second season in Miami, teaming up with Dwyane Wade to form one of the league's fiercest duos.
While he wasn't nearly as dominant as during his Lakers days, The Big Aristotle continued to put up big numbers with the Heat, averaging 19.6 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.9 blocks in 205 games with Miami.
