Santa Cuz has come to town.

Sacramento Kings star DeMarcus Cousins treated a large group of underprivileged children to a holiday shopping spree Monday at a Target in Sacramento.

It's an annual tradition for the All-NBA center, who not only donated money, but also his time in talking to each kid, asking them about their new toys, and trying to make them smile.

Here, he shares a heartfelt moment with a boy who thanks the 26-year-old Olympian for providing him with the means to buy things he's never had before:

Boogie has been in the news lately for not-so-good reasons - namely for bullying a reporter and his involvement in a nightclub altercation - so it's refreshing to see this side of him.

Another oft-maligned Kings player also channeled Saint Nick, as Ty Lawson treated some kids to toys as "Ty Clawson."
