Draymond expands on CBA complaints: 'It's not about me'

When news broke Wednesday of a deal being struck between NBA players and owners on a new Collective Bargaining Agreement, much of the basketball world rejoiced.

Not Draymond Green, though, who voiced his displeasure in a series of tweets.

On Thursday, Green expanded on his complaints.

"It's not about me," Green said, explaining that there are a number of reasons for his unhappiness with the deal, as reported by ESPN's Ethan Strauss. "It's not about me that I'm mad about. When I look at these things I look at a guy like Ian Clark or James Michael McAdoo, the other guys."

While Green didn't cite specific changes or provisions in his complaints, he did seem to be sticking up for the proverbial little guy in his take on the CBA.

"Right now there's like a max and a minimum, a couple in-betweens. I think there can be different structures to help those minimum guys make more and not be a minimum player. But like I said, there's a lot of things that I'm still going over."

Among the reported changes coming to the CBA, teams will be able to offer five-year extensions to multiple players rather than just one, top-end player who meet specific requirements will be eligible for even larger maximum contracts, and two-way contracts will allow teams to sign players and shuttle them between the NBA and the D-League.
