Pelicans' Tyreke Evans: Questionable for Thursday vs. Pacers

Evans (knee, calf) is considered questionable for Thursday's game against the Pacers.

Analysis:

Evans has yet to make his season debut, as he started the season working back from right knee surgery, while just recently, added a calf strain to his list of ailments. That said, being upgraded to questionable is a huge step in the right direction for Evans, who finally appears to be nearing a return to full strength. The Pelicans likely won't rush him back into the action, so it wouldn't be surprising if he ended up being held out again Thursday. To go along with that, even if Evans is cleared, he should be on some significant minutes restrictions.
