Bulls' Michael Carter-Williams: To be reevaluated in 10 days
Carter-Williams (wrist) is expected to be re-fitted with a shorter cast and will then be reevaluated in 10 days, Nick Friedell of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis:
It's been less than two weeks since an MRI revealed a significant sprain in Carter-Williams' wrist. However, it appears he's progressed well in his recovery and will already have the injury reevaluated in just over a week. That said, coach Fred Hoiberg indicated that Carter-Williams was still "a ways away" from returning to game action, so it seems that reevaluation may be more precautionary than anything and doesn't mean he's nearing a return. We should get another update in 10 days, but it wouldn't be surprising if Carter-Williams still ended up being sidelined into January.
