Raptors' DeMar DeRozan: Drops 31 on Cavs

DeRozan notched 31 points (12-23 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 7-7 FT), four rebounds, five assists, and three steals in 39 minutes in a 116-112 loss to the Cavaliers on Monday.

Analysis:

DeRozan has returned to Earth since his scorching start to the season, with this being his first 30-point game in nine games. It's hard for a guy who shoots, and makes, so few three-pointers to be such a prolific scorer in the modern NBA, but even after cooling down DeRozen is averaging 28 points per game. Additionally, he's averaging career highs in rebounds, assists, and steals so far this year.
