Pelicans' Tim Frazier: Moves to bench Sunday

Frazier will move to the bench for Sunday's game against the Thunder, Justin Verrier of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Despite the return of Jrue Holiday recently, the Pelicans opted to keep Frazier in the starting lineup next to him, but they'll try out a new lineup Sunday. E'Twaun Moore is expected to jump into the starting backcourt next to Holiday, which pushes Frazier to the bench. Frazier has struggled mightily over the Pelicans' last three games, shooting a combined 8-of-22 from the field, so coach Alvin Gentry will look for a scoring boost by adding Moore to the top unit. Frazier's demotion could drop his playing time well below the 31.0 minutes he's averaged so far this season.
