New York Knicks shooting guard Courtney Lee will not return to Wednesday night's contest versus the Minnesota Timberwolves after suffering a left ankle sprain, the team announced.
There is currently no timetable for his return.
Lee is in the first year of four-year, $50-million deal he signed with the Knicks this summer. The 31-year-old is averaging 9.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and a steal on 42.8 percent from the field and 43.4 percent from deep.
Justin Holiday will likely see an uptick in his minutes should Lee miss any extended time.
