Hawks' Paul Millsap: Ruled out for Wednesday

Millsap (hip) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Suns, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Analysis:

Millsap is dealing with some lingering soreness in his hip and the Hawks don't want to risk any sort of further aggravation, so he'll get the night off Wednesday. He'll go through additional treatment throughout the week, with the hope of returning for Friday's matchup with the Pistons, although consider him questionable for that outing. Mike Muscala is the current favorite to jump into the starting lineup, which would likely give him the opportunity to see extended run Wednesday.
