Timberwolves' Cole Aldrich: Production suffering in first season in Minnesota

Aldrich finished with no points and three rebounds across 10 minutes in Saturday's 115-102 loss to the Timberwolves.

Analysis:

Aldrich was one of the top per-minute producers at the center spot last season as the backup to the Clippers' DeAndre Jordan, but his productivity has taken a hit this season, despite the fact that he's seen roughly the same amount of playing time in Minnesota as the understudy to Karl-Anthony Towns. He's averaging only 2.6 points and 3.6 rebounds in 12.3 minutes per game this season, compared to 5.5 points and 4.8 rebounds in 13.3 minutes per game in 2015-16.
