Hassan Whiteside couldn't handle Gasol on the defensive end, and as a result, the Grizzlies big man set a new season high in scoring. Gasol's emphasis on extending his shooting range has paid off so far, as he's averaging 1.4 three-pointers a game, but spending more time beyond the arc is hurting his field-goal percentage, with his 43.1 percent mark representing a career-worst output.
