Pelicans' Jrue Holiday: Continues to thrive off bench Tuesday

Holiday finished with 15 points (7-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four assists, four rebounds, two steals and one block across 27 minutes in Tuesday's 112-94 win over the Hawks.

Analysis:

The Pelicans have reeled off three straight wins, and it's perhaps no coincidence that they've come on the heels of Holiday's return to active duty after he missed the first 12 games of the season for personal reasons. While it appears coach Alvin Gentry will stick with Tim Frazier as the starting point guard, Holiday's ability to play at either backcourt spot assures him of a large role off the bench. In his three games, Holiday is averaging 19.3 points (on 52.2% shooting from the field), 6.7 assists, 2.7 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.3 three-pointers in 26.7 minutes per game, making him worth owning in every fantasy format.
