Injuries are piling up for the Dallas Mavericks.

Center Andrew Bogut will sit out Monday's intrastate matchup against the San Antonio Spurs after getting kicked in the calf during Saturday's loss to the Orlando Magic.

While the issue may not be serious, it's another absence for a team that is already missing important contributors in Dirk Nowitzki, Deron Williams, J.J. Barea, and Devin Harris.

Going into Monday, Dallas sits at 2-10 on the season, losers of five straight. This puts the Mavs on pace to miss the playoffs for only the second time since 2000.

Salah Mejri will get his first start of the season in Bogut's place.
