Nuggets' Will Barton: Will start Sunday

Barton (ankle) will start at shooting guard Sunday against the Jazz, Chris Dempsey of The Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

Barton will take the court Sunday for the first time since Oct. 31, and his immediate insertion back into the starting lineup suggests he may not be held to significant minute restrictions, though the Nuggets haven't clarified as much. It may take Barton a few games to get back up to speed, but he's worth owning in any league where he may be available after averaging 18.0 points per game in his first three starts of the season. With Gary Harris (foot) expected to miss multiple weeks, Barton should enjoy some staying power in the starting five.
