Watch: Antetokounmpo's would-be game-tying dunk pops out
Giannis Antetokounmpo came about an eighth of an inch away from completing a furious fourth-quarter comeback for the Milwaukee Bucks.
Trailing the Golden State Warriors by 14 with under seven minutes left in regulation Saturday, the Bucks came roaring back with some swarming pressure defense, and had the deficit down to two as they approached the two-minute mark.
It was then that Antetokounmpo collected a loose ball off a deflection, exploded upcourt, collected his dribble, Euro-stepped from the top of the key, and sailed in for a two-handed dunk. Somehow, the ball only got halfway down before the cylinder decided to cough it back up.
That was as close as the Bucks would come. Though they continued to get stops, they couldn't manage another field goal, and a Draymond Green steal off an inbounds pass with 10 seconds to play sealed the Warriors' victory.
