There's probably some bad blood, but it's good to know they're still sort of friends. Chandler Parsons' return to Dallas on Friday was a success for the new Memphis Grizzlies forward, leading his team to an 80-64 win over Mark Cuban's Mavericks.

After two days of stories about how their close relationship was altered by Cuban's refusal to give Parsons a max contract, and the Justin Timberlake lookalike's subsequent absconding to Memphis, the former employee gave his former boss a wink and a nudge after at least one bucket Friday.

This basket wasn't a trey, but afterward, Parsons told ESPN's Tim MacMahon that he sent some love Cuban's way after a 3-pointer.

"I knocked it down and blew him a little kiss," said Parsons. "It's all in good fun. I had to get back on defense and didn't see, but I'm sure he wasn't too thrilled about it."

The Mavericks lost their fourth straight to drop to 2-9 on the season. Meanwhile, Parsons had by far the best outing of his six-game-old Grizzlies career, shooting 4-of-7 with three treys and leading Memphis in scoring with 12 points. He still felt the need to point some kind words in Cuban's direction.

"Obviously, he's frustrated with how their season's going," Parsons said. "But they'll bounce back."
