Celtics' Smart suffers ankle injury vs. Warriors

Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart did not return to Friday night's contest versus the Golden State Warriors after suffering a left ankle contusion, the team announced.
Smart missed three games earlier in the year with a similar injury.
The 22-year-old is in the midst of a solid season, averaging 11.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.5 steals while shooting 40 percent from the field.
Boston's depth will be challenged should Smart miss extended time, with starters Al Horford and Jae Crowder both recovering from injury.
