Wizards' John Wall: Double-doubles in win

Wall scored 23 points (7-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 6-6 FT) and added 11 assists, two rebounds, and one steal in 31 minutes during Thursday's 119-112 win over the Knicks.

Analysis:

After also playing on Wednesday, Thursday was the first time this season Wall participated in both games during a back-to-back set. The Wizards have attempted to ease his workload after he underwent two offseason knee surgeries. He was expected to see limited minutes Thursday after reports that his court time would be "monitored" as it had been Wednesday, when he played only 24 minutes. He ended up playing close to his season average of 32.8 minutes, and posting one of his better games this season. This is a good sign for Wall moving forward, especially when it comes to future back-to-back sets.
