Magic's Nikola Vucevic: Double-doubles despite poor shooting
Vucevic scored 10 points (5-12 FG, 0-2 FT) and added 14 rebounds and three blocks in 27 minutes during Wednesday's 89-82 win over the Pelicans.
Analysis:
Despite the double-double, Vucevic's shooting woes continue, as the center has shot just 22.7 percent over the last four games. Granted, Wednesday's performance was a significant improvement over his previous three games, where he went a combined 5-of-32 (15.6%), but the Magic may need more efficiency from him to justify keeping him in a starting role, since he doesn't offer much defensive value. Vucevic's poor shooting has dropped his scoring average to 10.8 points per game, his worst mark since his rookie season.
