Spurs' Pau Gasol: Starting Wednesday

Gasol (neck) will start at center in Wednesday's game against the Kings, Tom Orsborn of the San Antonio Express-News reports.

Analysis:

Gasol picked up a minor neck injury in the second half of Monday's win over the Heat, but he never appeared in any serious peril of sitting out Wednesday. The veteran has seen his minutes count pick up of late, and should be in line for a sizable workload as the Spurs look to contain Kings All-Star DeMarcus Cousins down low.
