Rose seeking $70K in court costs from sexual assault accuser

Derrick Rose was found not liable by a California jury last month in a civil sexual assault lawsuit brought by a former girlfriend, but now it's the New York Knicks point guard who is demanding money.

Rose is seeking to recoup $70,000 in court costs from the woman, who originally sued him for $21.5 million over a claim the former NBA MVP and two friends gang-raped her while she was intoxicated in 2013.

Criminal charges were never filed in the case. While Rose steadfastly maintained all sexual contact was consensual, several lurid details about his relationship with the woman emerged during the trial.

Rose will earn $21.3 million from the Knicks this season.
