Raptors' DeMarre Carroll: Active, but not expected to play Tuesday

Carroll (rest) is active for Tuesday's game against the Cavaliers, but isn't expected to play.

Analysis:

With the Raptors opening up a back-to-back set Tuesday, Carroll will be held out for the first game before presumably returning to action Wednesday against the Warriors. Carroll missed most of last season while recovering from arthroscopic right knee surgery, but hasn't experienced any reported setbacks during the early stages of the 2016-17 campaign. Norman Powell, who played 29 minutes in Saturday's win over the Knicks when Carroll was also resting, is in line to make a second straight start in Carroll's stead Tuesday.
