Cavaliers' Mike Dunleavy: Returns to bench Tuesday
Dunleavy will return to the bench for Tuesday's game against the Raptors, Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com reports.
Analysis:
With J.R. Smith sitting out with an ankle injury, Dunleavy drew the start in Sunday's outing versus the Hornets, but was just a minimal contributor, finishing with two points (1-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt), three rebounds and a block over 17 minutes. Smith is still out, but instead of Dunleavy, the Cavaliers will instead insert Richard Jefferson into the starting lineup at shooting guard. Both Jefferson and Iman Shumpert recorded more minutes off the bench while Dunleavy started on Sunday with 26 and 32, respectively, and they'll likely take the bulk of the extra minutes again in Smith's absence.
