Well, that didn't take long.
Kristaps Porzingis pulled off Dirk Nowitzki's signature move - a step-back, one-legged fadeaway jumper - over a hapless Dorian Finney-Smith, while the Dallas Mavericks legend watched from the sidelines.
The New York Knicks sophomore topped off the gorgeous display by staring down the man who inspired it.
Dirk says Kristaps Porzingis stared him down on the bench after hitting a one-legged in homage to Dirk tonight: "That was cold-blooded."

The 21-year-old Latvian planned to meet with the German superstar during the offseason to learn the move, but a scheduling conflict pushed the session to next summer.
Looks like Porzingis got a head start working on it.
