Nuggets' Emmanuel Mudiay: Goes 3-of-16 from field in Sunday's loss

Mudiay was limited to eight points (3-16 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and two rebounds across 30 minutes in Sunday's 112-105 loss to the Trail Blazers.

Analysis:

Just when he seemed to hit his stride after averaging 20.5 points on 46.7 percent shooting from the field and 47.6 percent shooting from three-point land in the previous four games, Mudiay took another step back Sunday. Even with that hot four-game stretch, Mudiay is still shooting just 34.2 percent from the field on the season, which is actually two points worse than the mark he posted as a rookie. There's no denying that the 20-year-old has talent, but he remains one of the NBA's least-efficient floor generals.
