Bulls' McDermott in concussion protocol after hard fall
Steven Branscombe-USA TODAY Sports
Chicago Bulls swingman Doug McDermott left Saturday's game against the Washington Wizards following a hard fall after an under-the-basket collision with Markieff Morris. He entered the concussion protocol and did not return to the game.
Morris was called for a flagrant 1, but McDermott went straight to the locker room and could not take free throws.
"Dougie McBuckets" has been an important part of the Bulls' attack so far this season; he's fourth on the team in scoring and second in 3-point accuracy at 38.1 percent.
