Report: LeBron to campaign with Clinton on Sunday

Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

LeBron James will reportedly be spending his Sunday off doing something completely unrelated to basketball.

With the U.S. presidential election just days away, the three-time champion will be campaigning with Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, multiple sources tell Yashar Ali of New York magazine. The duo will appear at the Public Auditorium together in Cleveland, Ohio.

It will reportedly be the first time the pair meet.

The Cleveland Cavaliers forward officially endorsed Clinton last month in an op-ed for the Akron Business Journal.

"I support Hillary because she will build on the legacy of my good friend, President Barack Obama," he wrote. "I believe in what President Obama has done for our country and support her commitment to continuing that legacy."

LeBron hinted back in October that he would be willing to campaign for Clinton.
