Memphis Grizzlies forward Chandler Parsons will make his season debut next Tuesday against the Denver Nuggets, sources told ESPN's Tim MacMahon.
Parsons has yet to suit up for his new team on account of his surgically-operated knees.
Despite his checkered injury history, Memphis bet big on Parsons during the offseason by inking the versatile forward to a $94-million contract. The team hopes he can provide outside shooting and playmaking that the Grizzlies sorely lacked from the forward spots in previous seasons.
The 28-year-old averaged 13.7 points and 4.7 rebounds while hitting 49 percent from the field and 41 percent from deep last season.
