Nets' Lin will miss at least 2 weeks with hamstring injury
The Brooklyn Nets will be without their new starting point guard for at least a few weeks.
The team announced Thursday that Jeremy Lin will be sidelined for two weeks with a strained left hamstring.
Lin suffered the knock in Wednesday night's 109-101 victory over the Detroit Pistons. He'll be re-evaluated in mid-November.
It's a big loss for the 2-3 Nets, as Lin has been off to a great start this season after signing with the club over the summer. He's averaging 15 points, 1.4 steals, and a team-high 6.2 assists over the first five games.
