Most predicted it would be an uphill climb for the New Orleans Pelicans to make the playoffs this season, and their franchise player, who is carrying the squad, is feeling the heat four games in.

"Definitely frustrating," Anthony Davis said, according to ESPN's Justin Verrier late Tuesday. "We can't get a win. It's frustrating."

The Pelicans dropped to 0-4 after a 117-113 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. Davis scored 35 points to bring his season total to 148 - which is the most for one player in NBA history through the first four games of a season on a winless team.

"Whatever we need to do, we need to do it fast," Davis said.

Davis is averaging 37 points and 13 rebounds per game, but beyond that the Pelicans are offensively challenged. The absences of Jrue Holiday and Tyreke Evans are certainly part of the reason the team ranks 26th in the league in points per 100 possessions, according to NBA stats.

The Pelicans are on the road for four of their next five games, including a visit to the Golden State Warriors next Monday.
