Denver Nuggets swingman Will Barton did not return to Monday night's contest versus the Toronto Raptors after suffering a left ankle sprain.
X-rays on Barton's ankle were negative.
The 25-year-old was off to a good start prior to suffering the injury, pouring in 16 points on 5-of-7 shooting before exiting in the third quarter.
Barton has been one of Denver's best offensive players to start the season, averaging 19 points and 2.5 assists, while shooting 40 percent from distance.
The Memphis product is coming off his best season as a pro, finishing fourth in Sixth Man of the Year voting.
